Armed Transports
A simple mod, for something I feel is severly lacking in the game.
Troop transports seem to be classed as military vessels, yet have no weapons to defend themselves….shenanigans I say!
So this mod basically adds weapons, utliity and other slots the further you get into the game
Each time you research additional spaceport levels, the troop transports will get additional slots to add things to.
Here’s an example
Level 1 troop transport gets:
1 small point defence weapon.
small_utility_slots = 1
medium_utility_slots = 1
aux_utility_slots = 1
Whereas a level 6 troop transport gets:
2 small point defence guns
2 medium guns
medium_utility_slots = 4
large_utility_slots = 4
aux_utility_slots = 4
**UPDATE #1 – 20/08/2017**
I’ve tweaked the stats to make them less overpowered
Removed some redundant folders/files.
New stats:
Level 1:
1 small point defence weapon.
small_utility_slots = 1
aux_utility_slots = 1
Level 6:
1 small point defence guns
2 medium guns
large_utility_slots = 3
aux_utility_slots = 3
