Gwen’s Simple Traits 1.6.1

1) 41 new traits many with up to 5 levels and negative versions of each.This adds a total of over 300 traits to the game. I suggest also looking at my Zero Cost traits mod that adds over 50 unique traits to the game.

2) Without touching the core AI personality files I have made it so that the AI personalities spawn when using traits with similar effects to the vanilla ones that they require.

A lot of the math I use is based on the fact that adaptability and strong double in cost as their effects double. This leads me to cost things in increments based on 50% of their in game value.

opinions.txt trying to find an easy solution to having to do that for opinion modifiers.

fixed other species happiness traits to be more impactful given I didn’t realize they changed how the modifier works. they are noew 1 to 3 and -1 to -3. and provide bonuses in increments of 5.

Turned off positive versions of the consumer goods reduction trait until i can know for sure if its granting a positive bonus to mineral production. This will not affect save games as I simply turned the traits off from selection.

Gwen’s Complex Traits and Civics
This mod grants species traits that augment their leaders with bonus leader traits. This mod grants Civics that grant specialized technology and buildings you can’t otherwise access. Traits and civics that grant strange and unique playstyles This is the spiritual successor to my complex traits mod from 1.4/1.3

Gwen’s Zero Cost Traits
This mod adds over 50 traits aimed at adding flavor and balancing around a cost of 0.

Gwen’s Starting Techs

Gwen’s Misc Leader Traits
This mod adds 13 admiral traits, 3 scientist traits, 13 governor traits, and 42 ruler traits. I based them as much as possible on what I could gather of the inherent math of the game.

Gwen’s Space Cowpoke Namelist
This mod adds a new namelist inspired by a line in Bon Jovi’s “Wanted Dead Or Alive”. Specifically the line “On a steel horse I ride.” Ship names are a combination of a metal and a real life horse breed. Every possible combination exists.

Gwen’s Domesticated Xenofauna
Breed your own space creatures and discover genetically modified strains to use in battle agaisnt your enemies.

Several new subject types for you to turn other empires into.
