No Pirates!
Since v2.2, space piracy is now a drain on unprotected trade routes and can generate physical pirates if left unchecked.
This mod muted the events to generate the physical pirates, but DIDN’T DISABLE TRADE ROUTE DRAINS.
No Piracy On Trade Routes is recommended if you want to disable trade route drains.

This mod made it so that pirates will never spawn in player’s country.
Pre v2.0: This mod did NOT remove the space monsters named "pirates".
Post v2.0: This mod did NOT remove the marauder empires.
Why do I want to remove pirates from the game?
- Pirates are way too powerful that you must spend many time and resources on them. They are annoying and did nothing good to the game. In addition, the AI can’t deal with them well as players can, which sometimes causes players to win a war for free, which is extremely stupid and immersion breaking.
- The idea of space pirates itself makes no sense to me.
- If you can’t feed yourself, you can’t stand alone in the dark space.
- If you can’t stand alone in the dark space, you can’t be pirates.
- If you can feed yourself, why do you even borther to risk your life to be pirates?
- PDX talked nonsense about why does gestalt consciousness have pirates in the event descriptions.
This mod will work fine with existing save, however existing pirates will not be removed.
