EP’s Relevant Terraforming
This mod is a large tweak to galaxy generation with the goal of making terraforming a more relevant gameplay mechanic without creating so many planets that late game lag becomes an issue.
This mod runs an event at game start to remove 95% of all non-special, non-presapient, non-pre ftl, and non-garanteed habitable worlds. Additionally, all terraforming candidate modifiers are removed
A second event is then ran that adds terraforming candidate modifiers to the following non-habitable worlds randomly. This event is not affected by habitable world settings
- Estimated 50 barren/cold barren worlds receive the Terraforming Candidate Modifier on medium size galaxy.
- Estimated 30 frozen worlds receive the Hydrocentric Terraforming Candidate Modifier on medium size galaxy
- Estimated 30 toxic worlds receive the Detox Terraforming Candidate Modifier on medium size galaxy
Should be compatible with most mods. Any mod that makes custom habitable world systems spawn before the planet removal event may lose their habitable worlds.
