Antarans Attack!

Welcome to Antarans Attack!
First of all I want to give a huge THANKS! to all the members and participants of the Stellaris Modding Den for all their suggestions and help when i was stuck.
Antarans Attack! This mod attempts to bring a special MoO feature to Stellaris, Antaran raids. This is meant to be a start of game to or through pre-midgame/midgame challenge, depending on what your mid game year is set to, that will make building and expanding your empire a little more challenging (like the Antarans are known for).
Somewhere outside the galaxy is a system that has been locked out of our dimension. At a certain point in the very early game the dimensional walls will breach and the Antarans shall return to the galaxy. Not to long after being notified that the breach has happened the Antarans will start raiding random owned systems in the galaxy. As time goes on the raids will hit a larger number of systems. Only by destroying the queen in the rift will the raids end. You will have to research technology to be able to create dimensional gateway to their system. The empire that defeats the queen will gain access to the fabled Stellar Converter technology.
How the Raids Work:
• The Antarans will spawn and ~4 years after that the raids will begin.
• Each year has a chance to spawn a raid.
• If a raid happens it will only be around for about 6 months, then they will leave.
• After a raid there is a cooldown for a couple years before another is possible.
• After cooldown the raids have a chance to happen again each year.
• All raids will end once the queen if finally killed.
Additionally, the raids will hit more than one system in the galaxy at a time. They will randomly hit a percent of the total default empire owned systems in the galaxy.
*Note: There is a mechanic in place to help prevent one empire over others to be hit overly hard by raids.
What are Antaran Raids?
For those who are unfamiliar with the Antarans and their role in the MoO series. They were an ancient race locked away or beaten back by an ancient race. The Antarans would breach their dimension to raid systems periodically throughout the galaxy until you went their dimension and beat them.

The fleets will be rather powerful in the beginning, and you may not be able to defeat them until your tech increase significantly. This is intended and is rather consistent how Antaran raids worked in MoO. Eventually you should be able to defeat them, and they will be more of an irritation than a threat. To this end the raiders cannot destroy starbases, they will only disable them. They will however destroy any ships that are in or enter the system while they are present. I have tuned the raids based on averages trying to take into account vanilla and additional mods. This should go without saying but the queen will be a solid challenge as well.
Additionally, Antarans are not for everyone, as they were in MoO. This mod may take you outside of your comfort zone. In most cases, it may require you to change your development strategy in order to succeed.

This mod should be compatible with most mods since all its files are unique.
