Planet Glow Removed – Planetary Diversity
This is the Planetary Diversity version of Planet Glow Removed. Please use ONLY this or the vanilla version, not both.
Place this mod below PD, its submods, and any other mods that edit planet classes!
Stellaris planets have a strange, very unrealistic glow effect. In the game code, it’s listed as "atmosphere", but it doesn’t look like an atmosphere, and the effect is present even on barren planets.
This mod simply removes the glow effect entirely, for a much more realistic look.
I recommend using this mod with Real Space for better skyboxes + system scale.
