Description:

As we all know, AI empires are more limited than player empires in many ways. In vanilla this includes the AI’s rather inefficient approach to soldier and enforcer management. The most glaring issues include unreasonably restricting enforcer jobs, not building strongholds until quite late into the game and almost nonexistent planetary revolt handling. The goal of this mod is to address the listed shortcomings while simultaneously improving AI’s defensive capabilities.

Changes:

– AI will no longer restrict enforcer jobs, causing unnecessary crime and unemployment. This also leads to higher number of defense armies protecting the colonies.
– AI will now always try to build a single stronghold on every colony, improving both defenses and naval capacity. However, AI will avoid having more than one stronghold or fortress on each planet (it never really takes advantage of fortress worlds anyway).
– AI is now capable of using martial law or equivalent decisions on colonies with low stability. The decision will be canceled once soldiers are no longer required to maintain stability.
– AI empires are no longer blocked from researching planetary shield generators and will try to build them on every colony when possible.
