Improved Galaxy Creation (3.9)
Hey Guys!
This is <Improved Galaxy Creation>, a galaxy creation altering mod that adds multiple! new galaxy sizes and also some additional galaxy shapes.
You see those beautiful spiral-galaxys that remember you maybe from the game <Spore>? Those you will find ingame in the selection menu as <Claire’s Spiral Galaxy I> for the one arm galaxy and <Claire’s Spiral Galaxy II> for the 2-arm-galaxy.
Additionally i merged into this mod now my old galaxy altering mod <Clusters>. Those you will find in the galaxy creation menu simply as <Claire’s Cluster Galaxy>. Cluster-Galaxies are only availabe in galaxies at or above the size of 800 stars =)
These are the new sizes i have added into the game:
– nano (50 stars)
– micro (100 stars)
– moderate (500 stars)
– massive (1500 stars)
– gigantic (2000 stars)
– and even TITANIC! (2500 stars)
Now EVEN 2 BIGGER!! sizes:
– colossal (3000 stars, 5+ min loading time) !
– gargantuan (5000 stars, 15+ min loading time) !!
There are also 2 special forms of the <titanic>, <massive>, <huge> and <moderate> galaxy size you can choose!
– Moderate Bleak
– Huge Bleak
– Massive Bleak
– Titanic Bleak
– Moderate Flourishing
– Huge Flourishing
– Massive Flourishing
– Titanic Flourishing
So what are exactly bleak and flourishing galaxies? Bleak Galaxies have around 75% less habitable planets and no star nebulae anymore, cause they are very old galaxies. Flourishing Galaxies have around 100% more habitable planets and a lot bigger and more dense star nebulae!
My mod also changes a bit the camera settings for, in my opinion, a more pleasant view. Starnames will appear one zoom-step earlier, that for navigation and overview you will have it easier and not to have zoom in that much into the galaxy.
