This mod adds the ability for machine empires (NOT hive minds) to use Void Dweller origin.
What was done:
- Restriction on Void Dweller origin expanded to not allow only Hive Minds (i don’t play them and don’t know how to balance the start)
- Updated initializers settings so that habitats have appropriate buildings and districts
- Re-distribution of pops for machine empires, since they need more energy production (-2 pops on mineral hab, +2 pops on energy habitat)
- Void dweller trait can be added to machines, despite being a bio trait.
- Prosperity tree will have appropriate void works tradition for +1 building slot on habitats.
- In versatility tree the Material Analysis tradition will add another +1 building slot to habitats (compensation for adaptability tree).
- Added ability to modify robot species without habitat preference (requires robomodding tech).
Notes
- This mod will conflict with other mods that override vanilla Bio species traits, as I need to override the entire file for it to work (adding conditional statements to origins to add different traits to machines is also not supported). Blame paradox.
- This mod will coflict with mods that redefine habitat capital buildings for habitats.
- This mod will conflict with mods that refefine the 2 traditions mentioned above.
