Description:
What does this mod do?

This mod adds new technologies to allow for new edicts and planetary decisions, depending on the accepted traditions and ethics of the player’s government. It is part of the Stellaris Vitalization series of mods.

Why is this mod needed?

This mod does not affect the gestalt of consciousness and machine empires, and is focused on the so-called regular empires, mostly unpopular builds (as of patch 3.0.2). The numbers are chosen in such a way as to speed up the midgame and reduce the required amount of population for a normal economy, because fewer pops – faster game 🙂 The list of technologies did not fit, but it should be remembered that without them, decrees and decisions will not be unlocked, each technology is opened only with the appropriate ethics and the adoption of the appropriate tradition. It should also be noted that when the principles of the state (ethics) change, decrees and decisions may also disappear if they contradict the new ethics.

List of edicts:
  • Praise of the world. Duration: until cancelled. Cost: standard, unity. Settlement happiness +15%, planetary stability +5. (Only available to non-fanatical pacifists)
  • Promised Land. Duration: until cancelled. Cost: standard, unity. Settlement happiness +20%, planetary stability +10. (Available only to fanatical pacifists)
  • External enemy. Duration: until cancelled. Cost: standard, unity. Settlement happiness +10%, settlement growth rate +30%. (Available to any militarists and only non-fanatic xenophobes)
  • Naval Teachings. Duration: until cancelled. Cost: standard, energy. Ship gun damage +5%, ship gun fire rate +10%, maneuverability +10%, chance to disengage +33%. (Available to everyone except fanatical militarists)
  • Elite videoconferencing. Duration: until cancelled. Cost: standard, energy. Ship gun damage +10%, ship gun fire rate +15%, maneuverability +15%, chance to disengage +66%, ship speed +30%, ship gun radius +10%. (Available only to fanatical militarists)
List of decisions:
  • Eternal holiday. Cost: Population Food Consumption +200%, valid until cancelled. Specialist production +10%, worker production +15%. (Available for any pacifists and not available for any form of xenophobe)
  • Glory to the proletariat. Cost: Population food consumption +150%, valid until cancelled. Worker Production +25%. (Available to any xenophobe, but excluding champions)
  • Support for domestic manufacturers. Cost: 2500 energy, 500 unity, lasts 10 years. Production of alloys and TMS +20%. (Available to any xenophobe, but excluding champions)
  • For the glory of the Reich. Cost: 50 influence. Worker production +30%, happiness -30%, rulers happiness +10%. (Available only to champions)
  • Double shifts. Cost: 100 influence. Production of alloys and TMS +30%, specialist happiness -30%, rulers happiness +10%. (Available only to champions)
