THE GARGANTUAN QUASARCRAFT!

Balance: I didn’t balance this very much so you can suggest changes. The QSC should do well against the SB and Blokkats, but higher difficulties I’d reccomend screening with ships to soak up the heavy fire.

THE ENDSINGER

The Endsinger is the realization of the Quasi-Stellar-Obliterator’s destructive capabilities in a mobile package. Conduct your ultimate symphony of destruction as you leave a trail of vaporized cosmic slag in your wake. It can obliterate entire star clusters, stellar systems, or perhaps for that one resilient FE capital… just the planet itself!

HOW TO BRING ABOUT THE END (How to Build)

You will need either a Quasi-Stellar Obliterator, or a Hypermassive Quasar to begin. Using a premade QSO makes the initial QSC stage considerably cheaper, but either path is viable. Then, you progress through the stages as usual, and ensure that before finishing the QSC build, you have designed it in the Ship Designer. The Quasarcraft can have its designs changed after building.

However in order to get Hypermassive Quasars, you MUST have the EHOF and/or QSO enabled, with the corresponding core option.

DO NOT DISABLE THE QSO!

– Fixed missing icons and bad crop on the QSC planetview icon
– Fixed not setting system to empty space when build finishes

– Hopefully fixed crashed for Mac and Linux users due to a file having incorrect animations
– Disabled flag preventing additional QSC’s from being built naturally
– Double checked alternate path without QSO – Take a looksee (EDIT: Nevermind, looks like an entire separate structure is needed)

– Added proper weapon locators for all the guns so they aren’t shooting out of the center of the system. This also causes the strike craft to actually show up

– Added "The Endsinger", the QSC’s exclusive W-slot weapon that unleashes the QSO’s firepower in a much more streamlined manner.
– Fixed some redundant events and graphical issues with weapons.

UPDATE 1/14/2023 2:25 AM – A QSO-LESS PATH

– Added an alternative path to constructing the QSC that only uses the Quasar, but the initial build stage is more expensive due to also building an entire QSO framework in the first stage.

UPDATE 1/16/2023 9:26 AM – M.I.F.S

– Added Multiple-Instance Fire Support to the Endsinger, allowing you to split the Quasarcraft’s firepower into several wormholes that you can move freely; This however severely hampers the Quasarcraft’s own weaponry while active.
– Added an Edict to open the Endsinger menu, so that you don’t have to fire it to access the M.I.F.S
– Reduced the blinding effects of the guns while firing
– Made the beam of the Endsinger larger and more intense
– Reduced number of Celestial Strike Craft that get deployed, from 10 each to 1 each with a much higher cooldown. This is to prevent lag and doesn’t affect DPS much.
– [Internal] Cleaned up unused and redundant code and flags

– Re-factored edicts to directly bring up the wanted menu
– Added a power level switch in case you don’t want to turn systems into voids

Bug Fix 2/3/2023 2:03 AM
– Fixed the rotation being too slow on the model
– Added "Anti Compound" tag to weapons. Wipe those dark matter beings away with the eyes of the obliterator!
– Added loc and fixed component set for Quasar Wormhole
– Cleaned up event code to unset flags and such

– Moved some stats to attempt to curtail overflow errors
– Changed fleet creation command to prevent glitch of the fleet trying to split
