More Durable Stations
Only modifies hitpoint values for stations. No other changes.
Updates the Station hitpoint values for military and civilian stations by x3 to allow stations to be more defensive. No other values have been changed. This allows all stations to perform more of a defensive role and not simply be destroyed instantly when a fleet arrives.
Currently stations are destroyed very quickly – especially Orbital Stations as they have no shields. Stations cannot move and are a significant resource sink in both build cost and maintenance. Because of this they really should have more of an impact. This mod allows stations to be used on a defensive basis.
- Military Station (small) from 2000 to 6000 hitpoints
- Military Station (medium) from 4000 to 12000 hitpoints
- Military Station (large) from 8000 to 24000 hitpoints
- Orbital Stations from 4000 to 12000 hitpoints
- Research Station from 2000 to 6000 hitpoints
- Mining Station from 2000 to 6000 hitpoints
- Wormhole Station from 2000 to 6000 hitpoints
- Observation Station from 2000 to 6000 hitpoints
- Outpost Station from 4000 to 12000 hitpoints
- Cannot be used with any mods that change the vanilla stations listed above.
- Can be used with existing save files.
- Can be safely disabled prior to loading a safe that had it enabled.
- Can be used with ship mods, provided they don’t include station changes.
