StarNet AI – Planetary Diversity compatibility patch (this mod).

This is a lightweight compatibility patch, meaning it will fix StarNet behaviour but won’t interfere with Planetary Diversity features where possible. It will also allow PD to overwrite StarNet / StarTech where it is not critical for it to function (ie. preferences for Ascension Perks or terraforming). This approach makes it very easy to maintain. Load order is crucial.

You know patch is working when: city and nexus districts on many AI worlds are disabled (none available to build), there are no housing buildings built (except under rare circumstances) and AI does not use industrial colony designation (mixed alloys/consumer production).

If you are still experiencing patch not working then you have a mod overwriting it. Try to move it lower in mod list. If that does not help you can use Irony Mod Manager[bcssov.github.io] to manually resolve conflicts.
