Stellaris Killcounter
This is a simple but effective killcounter for Stellaris.
Please read the description before you ask, thanks!
This mod is a standalone version of a feature in my larger mod: DarkSpace (Steamlink)
Ships: all ships you have lost or killed in any form of combat (versus other ships, starbases, guardians..)
Pops: all pops you have killed via bombardment, colossus attacks (cracker, neutron sweep..), purge or planetary invasions
Worlds: all worlds you have destroyed with a colossus
Empires: when you kill an entire empire via war or similar (doesnt work for all things)
It tracks ALL the things above + the kills/losses of other empires.
– This simple mod works with all other mods. Things that kill ships, pops or worlds in modded ways might do not add to the counter.
– Custom modded ships add to the counter as long as they kill other ships or die in combat versus other ships/starbases etc.
– Modded "superweapons" (shooting megastructures) like in DarkSpace or Gigastructures do not add to the counter right now, but maybe in the future.
– Custom modded colossus weapons (which kill pops) do not add to the killcounter, except for DarkSpace.
Note for modders: This mod overwrites a few Vanilla events: planet_destruction.100, planet_destruction.200, planet_destruction.300, planet_destruction.700. These are planet-killer events (colossus > on_actions), I added an effect for the "Worlds destroyed"-counter.
The global flag darkspace_kk_installed is active when using this mod (for trigger checks).
Savegame?: Yes. Wait for the next ingame year to finish and then check your situation-log.
Works in multiplayer?: Yes
For all empires?: It works for all empires, even for newly created empires (AI or player).
Achievements?: No, thats sadly not possible.
