This mod expands on the gameplay notifications to try to add a bit more context to scenarios where we would really benefit from having more clarity as to what is currently developing.

When an owned station enters combat, you will receive a notification that you can click to quickly cycle to that system and know exactly what is being attacked and where.

You will also receive a notification for a System lost, so you know exactly what the hell you just lost, as usually, especially in larger games and in the late game, you may only get a VO saying "We have lost a Starbase" but no indication of WHICH one. This aims to alleviate some of that. You may, of course, click on the notification icon and it will cycle your camera to that System.

Additionally added event notifications with custom text notifying the player when the Mid Game and/or End Game approaches.
Text is (to the best of my abilities) lore friendly and non immersion breaking. You can optionally disable this at the game start so you are not notified of these.

My first contribution to this amazing game and community, while I get my feet wet in modding.
As I play and develop more, I wish to add more Quality of Life notifications.

Current Notifications
  1. Station Under Attack
    • Warning Alert Sound
    • Notification Icon with Highlighted Frame (What station is under attack, by whom and which fleet)
    • Red Arrows Ping on Galaxy Map
    • Click to Select Station
    • Double-Click to Go To Station

  2. System Lost
    • Warning Notification Sound
    • Notification Icon (Yellow Surrender Flag . Says which System was lost and to whom)
    • Red Arrow Ping on Galaxy Map
    • Click to go to System.
  3. Game Stages Notifications (Optional)
    • Notification Icon with Highlighted Frame.
    • Select Wheter You Want To Be Notified At Game Start or Saves in Progress Before Mod
    • Option to be notified for both Mid and End Game Stages.
    • Option to be notified solely of Mid Game Stage.
    • Option to be notified solely of End Game Stage.
    • Option to be notified of None.
    • Some Unique Notifications for specific Civilisation Types

  4. Leviathans Alert (Only supports Ether Drake and its variants for now)
    • Alert when a fleet encounters the Ether Drake.
    • Warning Sound.
    • Ping in Galaxy Map.
    • Click to go to System.

Notes

The mod is unfortunately NOT Ironman compatible, however you may follow this guide!

Possible Bug for System Lost Event: If System/Station is lost but a planet is still colonised, event may not fire.

To reduce notification spam, only when Enemy Fleet Power is greater or equals to Station fleet power will it fire a notification
