Enhanced UI Project

ABOUT:
This is an Attempt to make the system and galaxy HUD more modern and streamline a lot of the icons, while increasing quality and readability. All(?) Icons have been remade whilst trying to stay true to the original stellaris-theme.
The new system UI is adaptive, meaning that it has a breakpoint at 2560 x 1440 px. Below this resolution it will be scaled by the factor 0.8, using this resolution or above the mods standard scale is used.
The new galaxy UI is now adaptive too, the following icons are scaled down using the same rules as above:
- FTL-inhibitors
- hostile intel icon
- debug ai icon
- Fleets
- Stations as well as their corresponding trade route icons and bypasses
- Trade protection, collection and piracy icons
- Operation and contact icons
The following things were NOT scaled down:
- System names, as that does only decrease readability, but no reasonable size decrease
- Flags and corresponding things eg. claim icons or the occupation marker, as I think those are fine for any resolution
- colonizable planets, special projects and anomalies, as they need to stand out and anomalies can’t be rescaled dynamically, which would lead to a weird looking mix
- Resources, as they are small enough already
Improved Font by Clazex is Highly recommended but not needed.
Note that Improved Font needs UI Overhaul Dynamic by Orrie as a hard dependency.

The system HUD was changed by the following:
- Complete new fleet and planet button with a more modern design.
- Clear difference between fleet and planet Buttons.
- Streamlining archeological site, point of interest and anomaly icons.
- Changed position relative to parent object (planet/fleet/…) if Enhanced UI Project: Defines is used.
- Increasing the "fleet / planet / …"-buttons size, so it can be reached easier.

*The fleet button design is shared with stations, megastructures, wormholes, …
*The button frames won’t be in game.

The galaxy HUD has been changed in a few ways, including:
- Fleet icons, being consistent with system view fleet icons.
- Anomalies and points of interest, making them fit their galaxy counterparts.
- Bypasses such as wormholes or gateways, so that they won’t overlap megastructures anymore.
- An improved occupation marker for more visibility.
- Changes to claim and trade mapmodes to be consistent with other changes.
- Increasing the "enter-system-view"-buttons size, so it can be reached easier.

![]()
Every icon used (report if something is missing) in system- and galaxy-view has been redone for:
- Higher quality (image quality, size, consistency,…).
- Fitting the general theme of the mod (streamlining a lot of icons to a white theme).
- Sometimes better (or worse) readability.
![]()

Vanilla files overwritten:
- gfxinterfaceanomalydiscovery_level_1-10.dds
- interfacemapicons.gui (not fully overwritten)
- interfacemapicons.gfx (not fully overwritten)
Will automatically overwrite ! Immersive Beautiful Stellaris ! regardless of load order due to file naming. They work together perfectly fine.
Will automatically overwrite mods that only overwrite images or .gfx files but do not change/overwrite the mapicons.gui file.

- If used with any mod like ! Immersive Beautiful Stellaris ! that changes the neutral color to white, it is not possible do differentiate fully excavated archaeological sites from those that aren’t. This can be prevented by using Enhanced UI Project: Defines.
