StarNet beta AI
This is a beta branch of my AI mod, Starnet.
Here some changes which weren’t properly tested are incorporated. If you don’t mind things breaking apart too much, feel free to try this version.
I am trying to address the problem with AI having empty planets in the lategame. There is a chance that paradox’s demolition code doesn’t work properly (it seems to check all buildings simultaneously causing AI to delete all buildings of the same type instead of just one.).
To work around it, AI will not use any normal methods of demolition but instead there is an event demolishing one building at a time if needed (and only if the planet is full). This sadly means that AI will be less flexible and worse in executing timing attacks, but it can fix the lategame issue some people are having.
I want to know if
- This mod is noticably better than normal Starnet
- This mod is noticably worse than normal Starnet
- You still have the empty planet problem just like in normal Starnet
- You no longer have the empty planet problem but had it in normal Starnet
Yes, this mod is as compatible with other mods as starnet (excluding mods which require compatibility patch which will probably be outdated). Nevertheless, if you want to report feedback please mention other mods you are using.
