NOTE: You can finish your savegames here! Because it sucks to always start a new game in bugged games this Ultimate-Galaxy version will still here for Stellaris 3.0.4 + ST: New Horizons Mod for 3.0.4, i will keep fixing bugs savegame compatible in this mod version and in Ultimate-Galaxy to keep it a good working game. Later when stellaris is more bug free and mod further developed i will make a seperate new version, of Ultimate-Galaxy for later Stellaris and mod versions!

HOW TO INSTALL FOR A WORKING LONG GAME:

1. Download the 3.0.4 version of the ST: New Horizons mod here:

2. Create a local mod with it on your hard drive. (Copy download to /Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/mod/ and adapt your local path in both text files. (search for "path=") Add the new mod to your playset.)
3. Subscribe this Ultimate-Galaxy mod.
4. Right click Stellaris in steam and select properties, then in betas select Stellaris 3.0.4 and install it.
5. Make sure to select the "Pit’s_Ultimate_Galaxy_4000_Stars_AI_and_Gameplay_Mod" map without any menu text on new game start and select difficulty Grand Admiral. (Look the 3. mod screenshot here that shows how to set up best and how it has to look like if you installed and started the mod correctly)
6. For a long working game set habitable worlds to x2 and research to x5. (Because of large map = more colonies = more research)
7. Have Patience! Map/Scenario loads long! Has to build thousands of hyperlanes and about 40.000 planets and alot of races. Loading a game is much faster.
8. Select 100% Default Empires (Recommended) on game start pop up window when starting a new game when map finished loading and game is starting!
9. Dont use any other mods and only use the standard UI-User interface.
10. Try to survive in the Ultimate-Galaxy.

SET MOD LOAD ORDER IN STELLARIS LAUNCHER:
1. Star-Trek New Horizons-3.0.4 (The here downloaded mod version)
2. STNH-Ultimate-Galaxy.

NOTE: Game is not crashing/freezing when you destroy the xindi superweapon, wait 5 mins game will continue, event end has to calculate much. If you dont game United-Earth and game looks freezing wait, the event is finished, game will continue.

FEATURES:
– 4.000 Star Systems, real large galaxy. Massive scale!
– Added hundreds of event releated and important Star-Trek systems and species to the map!
– Ultimate-Galaxy-AI – Fixed, improved and working AI, more updates savegame compatible will come soon.
– Better AI and combat AI, AI will conquer and expand/colonize hard now!
– 100+ all mod species and Star-Trek races added, mostly historic starting locations for all races.
– Alot Star-Trek pre warp races added to the map.
– All races start in there real historic quadrants and locations: Alpha, Beta, Delta and Gamma quadrant, all races are placed in there historic locations to better fit the TV series.
– Bajoran DS9 wormhole available directly at game start. (If the AI dont discover it, then no problem)
– The UFP / Federation is formed automatically at original founding date 2161 now! (Mostly only if you game UFP otherwise it can take some more years for the AI) Hurry up to get some species into your collation before 2161. When UFP / FED is founded you get no systems directly, some months later you can start integration of a coalition member via UFP event, takes time to build up the UFP now, makes the game harder for the gamer.
– 410 Starbases cap and better empire sprawl for Ultimate-Galaxy map added. You get now:
+0 Empire sprawl from districts
+2 Empire sprawl from systems
+2 Empire sprawl from colonies
+2 Empire sprawl from branch offices
and -0.25 Empire sprawl from pops!
(More pops = more ppl for administration)
– Rare resources are rare again! Free monthly rare resources are reduced for the AI, the AI has to get them and they will do so, large map ensures they will find them. The gamer was able to sell dilithium for rare resources to AI and sell the rare resources for a big cheat Ferengi profit, now only real mined rare resources are available for trade.
– Harder difficulty, the gamer gets -0.25 form every pop job, AI will grow pops faster now, AI empires will get a buff if they reach 80, 150 and 240 pops, you have to game good if you want to keep up with the AI.
– Naval capacity increased to 25.000.
– Performance is also good on normal computers.
– Square map, best use of all available space and distances. 4000 Stars needs space and time,
long realistic distances to go and not 30% of the map useless.
– More realistic hyperlane system then on standard maps, you can go to the next star if you want to.
– Mostly all story and mod events.
– Turned Flaxian, Nausican, Kraylor and Yirida and some other empires from minor to normal empires, they will expand now.
– Fixed Tholian to be able to colonize more planets.
– Fixed a bug where the AI cant colonize in inherit or conquered space.
– Disabled crime for the AI, AI cant handle crime good, the gamer still has to fight crime.
– Made the Borg able to conquer and attack planets in normal wars as AI, will start arround 2100.
– Klingons will conquer more.
– Many gameplay improvements.
– Alot Species fixes.
– Fixed a problem that changed some major empires to minor or primitives at gamestart.
– Fixed a problem where some expanding empires begin to colonize planets to late, all empires will colonize faster now.
– Fixed a bug where T’Rogoron, Husnock, Sheliak and Tholian empires cant colonize!
– All other AI empires expands even harder and faster now!
– Made the Hirogen and Suliban to colonize a bit more via megastructures.
– Fixed a problem where some expanding empires cant colonize.
– The AI can conquer now entire empires in a war or large parts of it!
– Normal ships can explore star systems now, like in the so called reality! Makes the AI able to scout enemy star systems in war also and conquer more! To survey planets you still need a science ship.
– Made the UFP AI stronger, if you game another empire then the UFP.
– Fixed the planet freeze bug.
– Mod is compatible with Stellaris 3.0.4 now!
– Added Hazari species to the Ultimate-Galaxy map.
– Increased the map performance.
– Added some cool galaxy graphics improvements to the galaxy map.
– You can turn on hyperlane display now, so you can find the routes better.
– Fixed a bug where empires changed colors after loading a game.
– The AI is hard now and may destroy you! Try to survive in the Ultimate-Galaxy!
