Description:

For Stellaris 3.6

NOTE: THIS IS A STAND ALONE MOD. IT WILL WORK WITH OR WITHOUT THE REQUIRED ITEM.

A mod tweaks every dds file inside GFX/MODELS Folder with the Exception of Portraits, Planet _Diffuse and Ship _Diffuse (This is to prevent blurry portraits, ship actual texure and planet actual texture. Howerver, thier _normals and _spec are modified so they’ll appear very less detailed than vanila thus providing fps boost too.
It should boost fps by atleast 15% or more. As it reduces RAM/CPU and GPU load.

-Added support for all DLC

Features

-Every DDS file inside the folder GFX/MODELS[/b has been tweaked. This include the ff folder:

add_ons

effects

combat_items

galaxy_map

planets

ships

system_map

ui

Every dds file EXCEPT the file on the PORTRAITS Folder, Planet _Diffuse and Ship _Diffuse has been modified by ÷2 ÷2.

Example: A DDS is 2048×2048 is converted into 1024×1024 then reconverted again to 512×512. This reduced thier resolution as well as file size, thus increasing the loading and maintaining of dds giving us more FPS ingame.

Mod Compatibility

-Any mod is compatible to this, this include mods like Human Variants, Remastered Human Portraits and such

Mod Load Order

-This mod load order does not matter. BUT if you want to make the mods above compatible, LOAD THEM AFTER this MOD.
