Description:

Per request by xnadu27, this mod adds the Dragon’s Hoard as a start system. Your ancestors told stories of the ancient Ether Dragons that long haunted the night skies. For millenia they demonized your people, with their loud roars penetrating the atmosphere and destroying many of your ancient cities. And then one day they vanished. A pre-ftl space expedition to the Dragon’s home world discovered a planet filled with treasure. And within the this planet lay an undamaged Dragon’s egg.

Features

• Dragon’s Hoard Start: Begin in the Dragon’s Hoard Start system with a treasure planet of +30 minerals & +30 energy already surveyed and being mined. Once you start the game you will be prompted with the event to possibly hatch the Ether Dragon’s egg or the Dragon Armor. Later on you can search for the egg or armor if you did not receive it in the beginning (occurs some time in 100 +/- 100 years).
• Dragonfire Glory Start: Begin in the Dragon’s Hoard Start system on a Gaia world with a treasure planet of +30 minerals & +30 energy already surveyed and being mined. Once you start the game you will start with a baby dragon.
• Dragons Rage Start: Begin in the Dragon’s Hoard Start system with a treasure planet of +30 minerals & +30 energy already surveyed and being mined. Also have 2 other habitable planets. Once you start the game you will be prompted with the event to possibly hatch the Ether Dragon’s egg or the Dragon Armor. Later on you can search for the egg or armor if you did not receive it in the beginning (occurs some time in 100 +/- 100 years).

Compatibility

• Compatible with 2.2
• No files are overwritten in making this mod.
• Available in all languages, although text is only in English
• Does an action at the game start (add mining station, initiate Dragon’s Egg Special Project), may have issues with other mods that modify the game start.
• Here, There be Dragons is now compatible with this mod. It’s recommended you use that mod in conjunction with this mod, as that mod adds the ability to age your Dragons and the author has done a lot of great work.

Note from Author:
This was a fun and quick mod to make. I struggled with the default start text stating you already surveyed and built a mining station on the Dragon’s Hoard planet. Other than that, I hope you enjoy it!
