!~ExOverhaul: Combat – Armies Sub-Mod
This mod is a sub-mod for ExOvehaul: Combat, but u can use it on its own or with other combat mods (please see the comp. patches section below).
It replaces the older ExOverhaul: Army Overhaul mod, which was removed from the workshop (their content is almost identical), and this mod will remain as the legacy mod for 1.9.* and lower versions (it should work with no issue with all versions above 1.5).
What does this mod do?
- It completely overhauls all the vanilla armies and attachments, changing their stats and prices.
- It adds new units: an advanced and superior assault/defense army units for the mid and late game. An extra machine unit. A synth commando unit that is up to par with psi-/gene-warrior armies, and an advanced slave army.
- It overhauls the army related technologies, changing some of their connections and adding new technologies.
- It fixes multiple issues with the vanilla army files (e.g. egalitarians being able to build slave armies on a world with slave processing facility).
- Reworks the 00_country_type file to assure the AI will build and use the new armies – fixing a lot of vanilla bugs in the process.
- It increases the maximal allowed number of defensive armies per planet, to make sure invasion is less broken.

1. You can run and use this mod alone or with other mods, but it uses the Combat mod’s changes to 00_country_types as a basis, and this might result in issues – you will therefore need a comp. patch to use it with some mods.
