z – Astro’s Stellaris Overhaul – Empire Management
This mod is meant to provide you (and the AI!) with more options for running your empire. It includes only internal-facing changes, and doesn’t change xeno diplomacy or relations with other empires.
Note: Should be compatible with virtually any mod.
– Added a few more repeatable techs.
– Fixed bug where gestalts were getting Trade-related techs.
– Added a Tech Focus policy. Requires the research of a tech to be able to focus on the an area.
– Put some of the new features behind technologies.
– Removed Agendas since they are no longer in the game.
– Fixed Bioconvergence turning Machine and Lithoid pops into Biological pops.
– Removed some features that are now in vanilla (e.g., tech cost penalty based on empire size).
– Updated for 3.13.x compatibility, including topbar_traditions_view for new crisis path.
– Fanatic Ethic edicts now have an initial cost.
- The tradition penalty for being over the empire size is larger.
- If a tech was one of the alternatives last time, it is more likely to remain a research option.
- AI now pays full cost for gene/robomodding projects.
- AI can expand up to 99 jumps away (instead of 2).
- Many new repeatable technologies
- New Edicts for Fanatic Ethics
- New Leader Traits
- Leaders can now gain traits when levelling up if they already have 3.
- New Ascension Perk (bioconvergence) when you don’t want a million species in your empire.
- Added Conscription policy.
- Added repeatable techs for Encryption and Decryption.
- Increased maximum growth from immigration.
- common/defines/00_defines.txt (specific defines only)
- interface/topbar_traditions_view.gui (replaces the Traditions view to display the 4 additional Ascension Perks)
