Vassalization of Occupied Territories
A mod that solves the problem of occupied territory being immediately annexed during war, often forcing your empire to take on massive deficits.
In wars where ownership transfers instantly on occupation, such as Total War, End Threat, or Colossus wars, captured enemy systems and planets are transferred to a temporarily created subject instead.
The subject can be integrated after the war.

– Separates occupied planets and systems into a subject
– Only works in Total War-type conflicts
– Subjects can be integrated after the war
Creation Rules:
Occupation Commissariats are created based on the territory’s previous owner.
If you occupy systems and planets belonging to Empire A, those territories are transferred to the A Commissariat.
If you occupy territory belonging to Empire B, a separate B Commissariat is created instead of adding it to the A Commissariat.
