Space Fauna Expansion & Advanced Ascensions
This mod adds three ascension perks and five new variants of space fauna to a civilization themed around animal companions.
– All prerequisite mods are optional, but I highly recommend using them to improve certain visual issues (such as ship overlapping).

Ravaging Swarm:
With unified mutation templates and behavioral directives, your spaceborne beasts will sweep across the stars like a living tide.
Unlocks repeatable technologies that grant 6 additional mutation slots, greatly enhancing biological fleet size, capture efficiency, and breeding power.
Abandons the use of regular ships and focuses entirely on space fauna.
Transcendent Biomorphs (Advanced Ascension):
Completely abandons artificial ships. Space fauna consume double naval capacity.
Elevates your beasts to a form beyond guidance—each pulse and cell a perfect answer to the limits of evolution.
Unlocks repeatable technologies for 28 more mutation slots and provides enhancements to range, evasion, armor, shielding, and regeneration.
Cloning costs increase drastically.
Celestial Behemoths (Advanced Ascension):
Recreate the ancient titans that once roamed the void. Declare the end of the age of steel, and the rise of life.
Unlocks juggernaut-class fauna: Crystal Core Entity, Space Amoeba Centenarians, Tiyanki Matriarch, Orbicutholoid, and Voidworms Rat King.
Each type of space fauna has its own unique mutation components.
To unlock them, you must construct a certain number of regular space fauna of the corresponding species.
This will also unlock unique mutations for their associated behemoths — advanced versions of the unique mutations used by regular space fauna.
The Tiyanki Matriarch is a resilient support unit whose Herdsong Chords provide aura effects similar to those of artificial juggernauts. Additionally, all of her weapons deal double damage to shields.
Note: each design can equip only one of these auras.
The Orbicutholoid excels at extreme-range bombardment, using its simulated planetary core organ to fire devastating particle beams. All of its weapons also gain +25% base damage.
Note: these weapons have very long charge and cooldown times, but prioritize targets in the following order: Colossal → Juggernaut → Titan or Bio-Titan → Battleships or Stingers, delivering one-time devastating strikes.

The crystalline core is exceptionally resilient, granting it resistance—or even immunity—to certain forms of attack. It can also temporarily split itself, creating nearly indestructible crystalline essences to assist in combat. Its radiant core and emitted radiation make it an almost universal priority target for enemies. (Taunt)

The Space Amoeba Centenarian is far more agile than other behemoths. All of its strike craft-type weapons benefit from 4× the normal count and launch efficiency.
The Voidworms Rat King is a grotesque symbiotic mass. Though slow and lacking in ranged capabilities, any ship foolish enough to approach it will be torn apart in an instant, and worse, the devoured matter is repurposed to mend its own flesh.
Additional Features:
• The Voidworm Troika (space dragon) can now be cloned directly, with greatly enhanced defenses.
• The Domestication tradition now offers a significantly higher rare capture chance.
• Total of +34 mutation slots (40 in total).
• AI will only use this mod if it has Beast Master civics.
• Compatible with most mods that add new space fauna, though feature overlap may occur.
