Faster City Growth
This mod lowers the population thresholds for city previews to grow in Planet View. For example, you only need 15k pops to display a full metropolis, instead of 24k on vanilla. It only affect the UI and has no effect on gameplay.
The mod is ludicrously simple (it only contains a single line of code), but I got tired of planetary capitals looking like tiny villages. I’ve actually been using it for quite a while, but decided to post it here since 4.0 made it even harder to reach growth thresholds.
Note: the planet background in the thumbnail is from Planetary Diversity, which I highly recommend.
You can add or remove this mod mid-game without messing anything. It shouldn’t conflict with any other mod, regardless of load order.
Should be 100% achievement friendly, but I haven’t validated if that was actually the case.
