Extended Vanilla Rooms Fixed
A mod that has colourised versions of vanilla rooms and unlocks some hidden ones as well.
Largely based on an Outdated previous mod version of the same name by Haziel
The previous version, whilst mostly working, was made for v3.8 of the game.
This version was made using v4.3.2 and is working with >>> v4.3.*.
The older version had some corrupt images, but has also had no contact with the author for nearly 3years (at time of posting).
I fixed the broken rooms. I cleaned up some others. I made new variations. I re-ordered, organised and sanitized the room listings. I tidied up the code a little. I’ve added some rooms, and unlocked a bunch of newer vanilla stuff, including things like the Pre-FTL rooms.
I enjoyed the original authors mod very much, but the broken rooms kept nagging at me.
Now all fixed.
Over 200 colourisations and adaptations of the vanilla rooms.
Note: screenshots do not show all rooms added, but do offer a good example set.
Should work with other mods that add rooms
Does NOT alter the checksum, so should be save game, ironman and achievement compatible.
Added compatibility with More Ai Personalities . Personalities from the mod should now use colour variations of the original intended room
HUGE credits to Haziel for their version which I learned from and the previous work they did. Many of these colourisations can be credited to them, but I lost track of what was theirs and what was mine. Much of this art is adapted from base vanilla game assets, many thanks to Paradox and the Stellaris devs!
