Update to my old Remove Good Traits mod. Most of this description comes from it. Side Note, thumbnail and picture used are from the old page, this uses Gladular Modulation.

Its always bothered me that we cannot remove or add negative traits without an ascension perk. We can add good traits but then cannot remove them. As if the DNA itself is fighting back to prevent itself from being removed…

That tends to make the best choice in designing your nation to give them as few points as possible so you have a nice blank base that you can work with if you dont plan on going down biological ascension.

Now with this, Glandular Modulation is all that is needed to remove postive traits from a species.

I have had to overwrite the scripted trigger "can_remove_beneficial_genetic_traits" to set it to only check for the technology but this should not be a big deal.
