Genesis of the Daleks: A Dalek Species Mod
Adds a new portrait set, the Daleks, from BBC’s Doctor Who. I have attempted to cover both Classic and NuWho Daleks. All portraits are animated!
- 1960s themed Daleks with the original Dalek emperor
- Daleks led by Classic Who Davros
- NuWho Daleks, led by the Dalek God-Emperor from Season 1 of NuWho
- The Dalek Paradigm, everyone’s favourite redesign
The NuWho Daleks also have an extra Davros portrait that won’t appear ingame but can be used in a custom empire.
All sets of Daleks have multiple colour sets to show ranking and provide some variety.
Most importantly, I added the special weapons Dalek! In classic and modern flavours!
Also includes preset empires with new name lists and a couple of flags.
My Doctor Who mods started off as a desire to learn Blender, and so I set about making animated portraits for the Cybermen (my favourite of the Who villains). I wanted to make things as vanilla friendly and as light as possible, only adding the Classic and NuWho designs without being script or event heavy (for now!). After that, adding the Daleks and Sontarans seemed like an intuitive step.
