Buffed End Of The Cycle
Always felt like the End of the Cycle was a complete pushover? Did you ever want to witness the slow, agonizing end of the galaxy by your hands, instead of watching an excuse of a "crisis" go and die randomly to some stations?
Well, now you can as this buffed up Reckoning has the potential to literally inhale FE fleets, if you feed it with enough pops, that is.
First image shows the Reckoning without any buffs from pops, second image showcases the maximum strength the crisis, achievable by having it eat at least 1000 pops.
The reckoning gets stronger the more pops it has consumed. A significantly stronger buff is applied after 250, 500, 750 and lastly 1000 pops were consumed.
The reckoning also surrounds itself now in a storm that decreases ship fire rate & sublight speed
Spiritualists and Fanatic Xenophobes have increased chances of getting the covenant and fanatic spiritualists got even more.
Likewise some civics (death cult, corporate death cult, fanatic purifier and dimensional worshippers) increase said chance as well.
The Reckoning is now playable once it get’s summoned! Please provide with feedback on this as this is purely experimental.
Known issues with playing as the Reckoning:
1: government/tech/traditions tabs are still available
2: All other shroud rogue entities might be hostile to you as well (working on it)
3: The AI also still harbours control over the ship. This is partly intentional as it’s difficult to target habitable worlds and turn it into shrouded ones otherwise. Your commands will override the AI’s commands though.
Is this mod Ironman compatible?
– No.
The Reckoning is still kinda lacking. What do you plan to add in the future?
1: Add some flavour events about the End of the Cycle speaking with the empire that summoned it whilst it is breaking the world around them.
2: GalCom does not have a Crisis Focus on the Reckoning, maybe I’ll try to add one in the future.
3: Buff the smaller Avatars too.
