Resplendent Relics
Version 1.2.1
- Added the Displacement Drive and its questline
- PATCH – Fixed compatibility issues with the Collapsar star type.
Description
A content mod prompted from boredom and fun(dubious) ideas to help fill the surprisingly thin roster of relics to find in Stellaris! Each relic has an associated event to lead you to claiming their unique powers, most often targeted at spicing up the mid to late-game experience.
There are only a few relics in the mod so far, but I hope to add new ideas as they come!
New Relics
- Climate Stabilization Drones – Revive the most barren of planets!
- Mark of the Revenant – Theres a zombie on your lawn…
- Collapsar Device – Its like an obscure reference gone haywire…
- Displacement Drive – A scientific race against your rivals to claim an impossible ship’s powers
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
- "Achievements/Checksum?" – No
- "Why aren’t there custom relic icons?" – Those are hard to make! At present I’m simply reusing fitting vanilla ones, but this may change for some relics!
- "Does this change existing relics?" – Nope! This is designed to be a largely ‘additive’ mod, simply adding content into a part of the game I consider lacking.
- "Is this compatible with X mod?" – At present, there shouldn’t be any noteworthy compatibility issues. Exercise caution with a certain destructive relic, though!
Known Issues
- The Unstable Derelict quest is somewhat unclear on how it functions
Special Thanks/Credits
- Aryx – Initial introduction to Stellaris modding and the suggestion that resulted in me making the mod.
- Gigastructural Engineering Mod – Giving some platform to my Stellaris modding ventures in the past, as well as for binding my soul into a Hadean curse forcing me to inevitably return to their Discord server again and again.
