Description:
This Mod will SORT ALL Buildings…

It will Categorize the buildings into groups.

Unlike other "Planet Sorting" mods, It does NOT CHANGE the building’s code, and does not require any updating when newer versions of Stellaris or other mods arrive.

NEW in v1.2 – Situation log game statistics & Quest Progress
  • It is a MANUAL SORT, through a {Planetary Decision} button.
  • Sort ALL planets with an {Edict} (v1.1)
  • Situation Log entries to keep track of Research, Country-wide growth potential (v1.2)
  • Keep track of some Quests, currently Mega Engineering and ACoT Delta Enigmatics (v1.2)
  • Added more buildings from more mods.
  • You can load this mod in the middle of a game and it will sort your planets.

It sorts only buildings it KNOWS about but any buildings it DOESN’T know will be left grouped together, positioned just following any military buildings (eg: shields, barracks).
We currently sort about 620 named buildings

Buildings from these Mods currently known:

  • Vanilla Stellaris
  • Ancient Cache of Technologies [ACoT]
  • Acquisition of Technology [AOT]
  • Gigastructural Engineering [GIGA]
  • Star Wars: Kuat Ancient Empire [KUAT]
  • Ascension – Biological Module
  • Ancient Empires 1.9 (most of it’s buildings self-sort)
  • Ancient Cache of Technologies [ACoT] version 3.12.5 (changed building names)
  • Forerunner Halo
  • Planetary Diversity
Categories

It groups buildings it knows by the following categories.
And within those categories by Boosters* , Static* & Worker buildings.

  • Army [Fortress, barracks, shield]
  • Government
  • Pop Assembly
  • Amenity [Housing, other]
  • Research
  • Manufacturing [Alloy, CG, strategic]
  • Resource
  • Unity
  • Trade

(This will NOT overcome any buildings self-appointed sorting order, if ordering is built into their code, example: military buildings.)

*Boosters – Change pop, planetary or empire percentage returns (eg: % energy production )
*Static – Fixed amounts of a resource or empire quantity (eg: +2 Envoys, + 10 amenities)

Situation Log
  • Quest: Mega Engineering So many technolgies to research in order to achieve this. Many other choices you can make that improve or reduce your chances to reach it. Now you can keep trakc of many of them.
  • Quest: ACoT Delta Technology First all the sensors, then Dark Matter mining tech, and so many more steps (and different ways) to finaly have Enigmatic DM buildings and ship components. Keep track in the situation log.
  • Research and researchers. With the recent NERFs in research in 3.12 its more important than ever to keep track. How many researchers or directors? What tech tiers? Some researchers produce more than others, now you will know many in each range of output. (simple 4+ tech/month researchers, advanced 30+ tech/month geniuses).
  • Do you need more workers? Should you borrow some pops from your neighbor? Now you can know how many free jobs, building slots, districts and housing you have.
