Description:
Updated to 3.12.4.

I’ve implemented a few new things with this including a new dynamic cost system for ship sections. items marked (Adv) cost double that of normal sections.

A variety of edits, fixes and compatibility patches i’ve made, uploaded primarily for balance testing and experimentation.
If you just want the combat changes, try Rescaled Tactical Combat instead. I’ve reworked a lot of the missile and autocannon graphics and fixed some of asb’s current bugs, and will continue looking for ways to improve the experience.

Also, I’ve changed the number of ascension perk slots and relative technologies this mod provides. If you would like them back, I’ve posted a stand-alone submod that contains them.

Adds:
– 2 traits (compatible with expanded pops and XTE).
– 1 AP.
– 8 tradition slots.
– 11 ascension perk slots and the tech to unlock them.
– Deleted sentry array as a buildable megastructure to save performance.(can still be repaired)
– Various other minor changes.

Combat:
– re-scaled particle effects from asb.
– All the same changes as described in the RTC description.
– Adjusted ai weights to focus more on larger ship classes as the game progresses.
– Adjusted ai economic plans to help focus more on alloy production. (* Note: for compatibility with starnet/startech or any other AI mods that overwrite vanilla economic plans, load below this mod to make sure it overwrites this change.*)
– Lowered hull and armor regen values from components in order to cut back on the number of stalemates.
– Probably a few other things that I can’t remember.

Known Issues:
– Localisation.
– Missing and placeholder icons that were ripped from other mods. I intend to replace them eventually, but one of the traits uses an icon from Diagrapher’s Trait Mod, by Kuyan-judith, the AP and one technology uses icons from One More Civic Slot mods by Groob, and other technologies use icons from UIOD sub mods by Orrie.
