The Pyrians are a methane-breathing species native to a unknown planet in the farthest reaches of the Known Galaxies. Almost nothing is known about Pyrian biology and their society save that they are expansionistic and need to terraform planets to suit their needs. Although never apart of the Vedran Empire and The 1st System Commonwealth, they had many dealings with both nations. As an imperialist race, the Pyrians occasionally fought the old and new System Commonwealth over planets that suited their needs for Pyroforming ( their way of terraforming). Unlike most species in the Known Galaxies that suffered from the fall of the old Systems Commonwealth, Pyrians actually benefited from it. Like the Kalderans, they had become the dominant power within their region of space,conquering
independent systems and contesting members of the New Systems Commonwealths for others. Only the various
large prides of Nietzscheans can stop the growing Pyrian Empire and with the dawn of the New Systems Commonwealth, the Pyrians seek to consolidate their power even more.
