Simple Cybernetic Origin
Simply gives your founder species the Cybernetic trait.
That’s all.
The only requirement it has, is to be some kind of materialist.
Re-uses existing base game art assets, and does not overwrite anything. Unless Paradox changes how the cybernetic trait is referred to internally, this will be compatible effectively forever.
I’d originally intended for this to have more effects, such as being restricted to the Cybernetic ascension tree, just like Teachers of the Shroud and the Psionic tree, or giving some initial flavour starting techs, but my (currently) limited understanding of modding means this isn’t happening. At least for now.
When you adopt the Cybernetic tradition tree and it issues the special project ‘The Flesh Is Weak’ you will still have to do this project in order to access the rest of the tree. All it will do is re-name your founder species without making any changes, as you already have the cybernetic trait. Other species in your empire will be affected by the project normally.
