This is a updated version of Larger Strategic Resource Deposits by dl.shadowstrike (original description below). Aside from updating it to 3.0.*, and making it so that it no longer overwrites any vanilla files and making it so that it only modifies "10_deposit_buildings.txt" (affects the Betharian Plant, Xeno Zoo and the regular strategic resource mine buildings), I’ve made no other changes because I don’t know wth I’m doing.

You do not need the original Larger Strategic Resource Deposits to run this version.

If dl.shadowstrike ever decides to update Larger Strategic Resource Deposits, or they should ask me to take this version down, I’ll take it down.

If I’ve made any mistakes, or you have a better idea for the name of the mod, let me know.

Original description (taken from Larger Strategic Resource Deposits):

I’ve made some changes to make strategic resource (gases, motes, crystals) deposits more important in the early- and mid-game. The goal is to make strategic resource locations worth fighting over, instead of being nearly irrelevant because you can build refineries right away.

* All three refineries are now late-game (tier 5) technologies.
* Space strategic resources deposits are now larger.
* Strategic resource mines are now upgradable (providing up to 3 miner jobs), with new technologies.
* Relic worlds now produce only 1 deposit of each strategic resource instead of 2.
* Strategic resource edicts are now 10x as expensive.

Feedback would be really useful, as I am still tinkering with the numbers.

Not achievement compatible.
