~ Dice Roll Combat !
When entering combat a fleet rolls 2 dice to get random buffs or debuffs lasting 30 days.
It happens in the background without any notification, because that would get spammy real fast. You can see the current effects in the ship modifiers tooltip.
here are the dice:
- +100% weapon damage
- -50% weapon damage
- +50% tracking
- -50% tracking
- +50% evasion
- -50% evasion
- +100% fire rate
- -50% fire rate
- +50% disengage chance
- -50% disengage chance
- +100% shields
- -100% shields
If you’re super lucky, you may roll + damage and + fire rate for 400% effective damage output, while your opponent rolls – evasion and – shields. So you may blow up a fleet 3 times stronger.
Or your opponents roll a double 6, but at least you rolled + disengage and lived to fight another day.
Or you see 2 corvette fleets rolling – tracking and + shields and barely hurting eachother for a month.
and can be safely added and removed from saves.
