Description:

This simple mod tries to Make Tall Empires Playable. Everyone knows that currently Wide Empires exceed production of Tall Empires, by far. So the goal of this mod is to try to match production (and power) of Tall Empires with Wide Empires.

This mod don’t use civics or ethics for this goal, but using Planetary Ascension to unlock planetary decisions for boost production and pop growth in the planet, for each level of planetary ascension (10 levels). Each level costs more but gives a bigger boost Also your capital at level 10, unlocks edicts for the Empire very powerful bonuses. It should be noted that the planet is lost all the bonuses in the planet will be lost too.

General changes:
– Max building slots per planet: 36 (UI Overhaul Dynamic mod is needed). Tall empire have an easier access to all slots.
– Empire size: 20 per planet, 5 per system, 0.2 per pop, 0.25 per district, 3 per Branch Office.
– Planetary Ascension (PA) cost multiplier per empire size: 25 (With a high empire size is harder to ascend a planet).
– PA cost multiplier per planet tier ascended: 0.3 (each planet ascended doesn’t impact too much in cost for ascend a planet)
– A planet can be ascended since unlocking the first Ascension Perk slot.
– PA bonuses modified: -6.6% reduction in planet sprawl.

New decisions:
– Each planetary ascension tier unlocks a decision for unlock a new decision for boost production in the planet using modifiers for the planet.
– Each Gigalopolis decision gives some unity. Each level gives less unity.
– Each decision is more powerful than previous one but costs more. Level 10 boost: 100% production, +17 building slots, +18 districts, +5 stability, -15% using house, -10% pop upkeep, 100% pop growth and 100% assembly.
– Also if you lose a planet in a war, Gigalopolis modifier is lost.

New Edicts:
– Capital planet at level 10 (modifier "Gigalopolis") unlocks 7 edicts/campaigns.

IMPORTANT: This mod is not balanced. The modifiers can be very powerful or not enough. Also the general modifications may not be precise enough to prevent Wide Empires from using Planetary Ascension and become even more powerful. So I’m open to your comments for proper modifications, balancing and improvements.

There’s a GAME BUG for me impossible to fix: image of static modifier after level 2 does not change even the boost is applied. Change the planetary view to another planet makes that the image changes properly.

The language of this mod in any language is English, except for Spanish.
