Description:

"For a while now, I feel like the Authoritarian ethic is somewhat unvaried in its themes. I get the impression that it is too much centered around slavery Voluntold Community Service and that other potential themes surrounding Authoritarianism have been neglected. There is only 1 civic exclusive to Authoritarianism (+ MegaCorp counterpart), Slaver Guilds. With this in mind, I wish to suggest this civic idea."
– Mirco, the original creator of this civic concept.

This mod adds a new civic, the Corrective Facilities civic. It has a multitude of benefits, mostly focused on a new building, the Re-education Camp.

The Re-education Camp

This building only activates its upkeep and job when a pop on the world has a diverging ethic from your own. The Detainee job it provides only accepts pops with incorrect ethics and releases them when they are "re-educated". The job has a massive increase to governing ethics attraction and potentially ethics shift chance, while producing minerals and food. The building can be upgraded with the Colonial Centralization tech to provide more jobs at once. You also get a decision to unemploy and demote any specialist pops to workers, opening them up for "employment" as a detainee.

The Re-education Policy

This policy controls whether your detainees get more governing ethics attraction, or produce more resources. It’s all up to you.

The Purge

If a species is just too inconvenient, a special type of purge is unlocked with this civic, the Enhanced Forced Labor purge. They produce more resources in this state, with a heavily reduced chance of escape. Plus, no opinion loss from other empires, as your nation is better at covering it up.

Credit to Mirco for the idea, some balancing, and writing a good chunk of the mod. Cheers!
