Your species have shared their evolution with an continent spanning non-sapient fungus species. During recent times a new field of science has emerged, mycelium engineering.
With basis in genetic alteration this new innovation will unlock the secrets of the fungus and bring both species together in symbiosis.
This mod offers an unique start for your species. The origin or civic allows building a Neural Node building on your planets that grows a planetwide mycelium web. It also has limited cloning ability.
There also a lot unique techs locked to the origin or civic and a ascension perk.
To make it more unique no AI empire will select it.
A lot of time has gone into balancing the content.
