Species modification, without numerical limits.
The game has three entire Ascension Paths dedicated to species modification; Genetics, Cybernetics,and Synthetics. Since the vanilla game allows us to empower our ships and economies into infinity, given enough time and investment, why can’t we do the same to our species, provided we’re dedicated enough to the goal? This mod adds three infinitely repeatable technologies to the game in pursuit of this goal.
Next-Generation Gene Therapy) Available to any empire that takes the Engineered Evolution Ascension Perk, and has researched the Targeted Gene Expressions technology in the Society category. Next-Generation Gene Therapy is a Society technology in the Biology field, and gives the empire one extra Biological Trait Point, Lithoid Trait Point, Biological Trait Pick Point,and Lithoid Trait Pick Point per level.
Quantum Circuitry Miniaturisation) Available to any empire that takes any one of the following Ascension Perks; The Flesh is Weak, Organo-Machine Interface, Organo-Machine Interface (Assimilator), Synthetic Evolution, and Synthetic Age. Additionally, you need to have researched either Fungible Circuitry, or Nanite Assemblers, both in the Engineering category. After fulfilling these prerequisites, you may now start rolling Quantum Circuitry Miniaturisation in the Physics category, in the Computing field. Why Physics? Because Engineering’s too crowded, especially once you start installing major mods. Regardless, researching Quantum Circuit Miniaturisation provides you with one extra Robot Trait Point and Robot Trait Pick Point, or one extra Machine Trait Point and Machine Trait Pick Point per level, depending on your empire’s archetype.
Quantum Circuitry Miniaturisation is, technically, two separate technologies, due to how prerequisites and weight modifier checks are handled under the hood. One version is for individualist empires, while the other’s for gestalt empires.
