basically adds void energy, a new resource that unlocks a bunch of powerful ♥♥♥♥. basically you’re gonna need the highest tier of lasers and reactors, then you can roll the void energy discovery, which does pretty much nothing apart from telling you "hey we know this exists but we cant use it lmao", then you can get the extraction tech that allows you to produce it and after that you can go nuts and unlock more and more techs if you get the ascension perk
the department is still very much a work in progress, nothing but a concept for now, but to be short they will basically be a more active fallen empire and an unstoppable force you will bow down to, ally to or be crushed by. they use void energy for pretty much everything, except their stuff is MUCH more advanced. they’re gonna have planet types related to them and ♥♥♥♥. the mod will be updated regularily so yea, expect new ♥♥♥♥, stupid ♥♥♥♥, broken ♥♥♥♥ and funny ♥♥♥♥
it’s compatible with most mods i know of and i highly recommend using ethics and civics advanced as well as ui mods for the new planet type and the civics

Latest Update: Finally, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ finally, fixed the Department contact event chain (made the Galactic White Noise into a situation), removed the Galactic Sensors tech
Upcoming: mate i honestly have no idea im hoping i can make ship components but that looks so complicated idk i’ll see but hopefully ship components and branches of Void Energy specialisation for spiritualism and materialism
