Better Clinic
People more knowledgeable than I have done the calculations. Clinics aren’t worth building because the cost to run them is more than the benefit they give. Many fixes for this have been recommended, but I’ve yet to see anyone mention the most obvious: just get rid of medical workers.
This mod makes Gene Clinic and Cyto-Revitalization Center provide nearly all of the benefits that the medical workers would have provided, but without requiring population to work them. For balance, I’ve halved the amenities and the buildings require consumer goods as maintenance the same as the jobs would have.
This makes the clinic buildings definitely worth building, while still not being too good.
