This is the compatibility patch for Realistic Ships and Aesthetic Cinematic Graphics.

ACG incorporates built-in compatibility with a lot of other ship model mods like f.e. Asari, Kurogane, Strega, Sins of the Prophets, Protoss etc. that add more flavor to the vanilla ship model sets (like humanoid, molluscoid etc.)

Unlike those ship model mods, realistic ships is a ship class mod that adds new ships (like f.e. support cruiser) for each ship model set.

Since i also started to work on compatibility with another ship class mod, namely SCX (Ship Combat Expanded) fairly early, all or most of those ship model mods that i made compatible with ACG are also compatible with SCX – because i incorporated compatibility for SCX as well, when i worked on compatibility with ACG.

BUT i did not include compatibility with Realistic Ships if used together with other new ship model mods (like Kurogane, Strega etc.)!

Conclusio:
1. If you use ACG + SCX + other ship model mods => mostly compatible
2. If you use ACG + other ship model mods => compatible
3. If you use ACG + Realistic ships + Compatibility patch => compatible
4. BUT if you use ACG + Realistic ships + Compatibility patch + other ship MODEL mods => mostly NOT compatible

Right now i can not guarantee that i will include compatibility with realistic ships and other ship model mods in the future because my time is limited. So if you use ACG + Realistic ships, you will be fine as long as you do not use additional ship model mods. I hope for your understanding.

Attention:
If you want to use ACG and Realistic Ships together, you will have to subscribe and activate all three mods:
1. ACG
2. ACG Realistic Ships Compatibility Patch
3. Realistic Ships

With this compatibility patch ACG takes priority over Realistic Ships. Therefore ship speed and ship scaling of Realistic Ships have been replaced or modified to be compatible with ACG and to provide a more balanced/consistent gameplay. The main features of Realistic Ships were untouched.
