Cradle of Civilization Name List
This is a name list using names from ancient cultures in the Cradle of Civilization (The region spanning from Israel through to modern day Iran), specifically the Assyrians, Hittites, Sumerians, Babylonians, Israelistes, and the Persians, and a few from other cultures active in the region.
Planet/Colony names are taken from city names, ship names from gods and other spiritual beings, Individual names taken from names of historical figures (and a lot of biblical ones since those are easy to find :P.) There are fleet names based on ancient nations, but currently the game doesn’t use them, even in the vanilla name lists. There are also custom names for army types.
