Vassals Love Powerful Overlords
This mod changes the behaviour of your vassals.
– Instead of hating you if you are more powerful, they love you instead!
– If you get weaker than your vassals they will start hating you.
– They love their overlord more than their fellow vassal cousins.
– If you forced an empire to be your vassal, they will hate you more with a slower decay.
This mod redefines a few opinion modifiers in:
common/opinion_modifiers/00_opinion_modifiers.txt
It does not replace the vanilla file.
Details:
The game by default is balanced to make vassals hate you if you’re more powerful than them; -1 opinion per 1% power difference in the overlords advantage. I have changed this to +1.
The vassals like each other better than their overlord +25 for overlord, +50 for vassal. I have swapped these values.
Vassals who where vassalized by force get -30 opinion with a decay of +5 per year. That will be 6 years of a pretty small negative opinion. I have changed this to -100 opinion with a yearly decay of +1. This is much more drastic consequence of forcefully vassalizing.
