Description:
For Stellaris 4.2 "Corvus". Not compatible with achievements.

Have you ever wanted to play as an elf with plant traits? Maybe as a lithoid that doesn’t look like a magic rock? Or maybe you want to turn a non-molluscoid conquered species into a starfish for fun? Or choose a juicy organic look for your robots? Then this mod will help you make your wishes come true!

This mod removes restrictions on portraits by duplicating each portrait for organics, machines, lithoids, and infernals. This allows you to select any portrait during genetic modification or synthetic evolution. It also lets you ignore most restrictions from origins, civics, and species traits that require a specific species class.
Randomly generated empires will not use the portraits added by this mod.
Mod also unlocks portraits for:

  • Contingency/Custodian. They have three options — just red robot, red robot with special effects and red server, blue server.
  • Prethoryn.
  • Unbidden/Aberrant/Vehement/Formless. They have two options — clear and with special effects.
  • Shroudwalker. They are combined into a single set.
  • Salvager. They are combined into a single set.
  • Minamar. They are combined into a single set.
  • Mindwarden.
  • The Beholder.
  • Keides.
  • Skrand Sharpbeak.

The sound has been removed from all crisis portraits to preserve sanity.
The mod does not add portraits to categories unrelated to species, i.e., to «cybernetics», «synthetics», «biogenesis», and «psionics».

If you encounter any errors or missing portraits, please let me know.

Compatibility

Doesn’t change vanilla files.
