Better Aptitude
Do you think councilors get too much love? Do you want to level your governors and get that sweet Bot Lord destiny trait? Do you miss the old Champions of the Empire? Do you just really like traditions trees that start with the letter A?
If your answer to any of the above is yes, then I have the mod for you. Once the best of the best, then nerfed into oblivion, Aptitude rises as a phoenix from the ashes. I tried not to make it as broken as it once was (especially the agenda, jeez), but I can see myself taking it in most of my games.
Here are the new effects:
Adopt:
- +1 Base Leader Skill Level (This applies retroactively, so your existing leaders gain a skill level too)
The Empire Needs You:
- +1 Recruitable Leaders per Class (known pre-4.0 as leader pool)
- +1 Starting Leader Traits
Healthcare Program:
- +20 Years Leader Lifespan
- Replaced by +1 Effective Leader Skill if your species is immortal
Psychological Profiling:
- -1 Max Negative Traits, -25% Leader Upkeep
Specialist Training:
- +25% Leader Experience Gain
Champions of the Empire (all global):
- +2 Naval Cap per Commander Level
- -2 Empire Size per Official Level
- +0.5% Leader Experience Gain per Scientist Level
Finisher:
- +1 Leader Cap for each Class (same as before)
Additionally, Leadership Conditioning instead grants every leader +300 experience per level as its finisher effect.
