Ship Types+
Pretty simple mod. Adds some new ship types to the game as offshoots of the base types, as well as some new ship sections.
New types will have their own tech to research, but upgrade tech (like hull upgrades) will be applied from the respective upgrade from the ship type the new type branches out from.
(ex. Monitor hull upgrades are unlocked via Cruiser Hull upgrades)

– Battlecruiser –
Faster but lighter alternatives to the Battleships they branch off of, these ships are great for fast, mobile fleets
– Monitor –
Unlike the Cruisers these ships are based off of, Monitors are slower, more affordable, and carry lots of firepower.

– Frigate Escort Carrier Hull
– Cruiser Hangar Bow
– Cruiser Short Bow
– Battleship Hangar Rear
