Gauntlet’s Orbital Structures
Welcome to Gauntlet’s Orbital Structures! The purpose of this mod is to bring you more megastructures, generally built around your colonies and generally during the mid-game, additionally this mod increases the maximum level of your Orbital Rings.
ORBITAL RING ENHANCEMENTS:
-Now have a 4th and 5th level that adds modules and building slots whilst increasing their stats and defenses appropriately
-Modifies or adds both modules and buildings that increase the district count of the host planet by a total maximum of 14
-Special Orbital Ring buildings are no longer mutually exclusive with their planetary counterpart (allowing both planetary and orbital embassies for example)
STARBASE MODULES
-Unique modules for the Orbital Fortress
-Modules for crystal, gas, motes, and food
-Updates to Orbital Ring modules
NEW MEGASTRUCTURES:
-Dyson Ring: Energy structure, yield depends on star type
-Defense Station: Non-customizable starbase that can be built to supplement system defenses
-Orbital Fortress: Super-starbase that can truly defend on its own
-Neutron Field Array: Increases home territory fire rate as well as all shields and shield hardening
***Orbital Structures are built around colonies that meet a population requirement (25 or 50 is typical), structures of each "slot" type are mutually exclusive to the colony***
ORBITAL STRUCTURES FOR SLOT A (Dismantable)
-Interplanetary Archive: Unity, minor artifacts
-Mining Outstation: Creates deposits on system planets (mini-arc furnace) resources depend on planet types
-Orbital Lab: Science, rare resources like Dark Matter (once you research harvesting)
-Star-Com Logistics Facility: Intel, sensors, influence, naval supply
ORBITAL STRUCTURES FOR SLOT B (Dismantable)
-Ancillary Fusion Array: Energy
-Hydroponic Reef: Food
-Orbital Industrial Complex: Shipyard, Alloys, Consumer Goods
-Orbital Refinery: Crystals, Gas, and Motes
ORBITAL STRUCTURES FOR SLOT C (Empire can build one of each)
-Army Headquarters: Army damage, unity from soldiers, and war exhaustion
-Astral Weaver: Astral threads
-Bio-Science Growth Center: Research, growth, and pop assembly
-Centralized Authority Center: Civic, edict fund
-Interstellar Trade Hub: 1/2 Civic, Trade Value
-Luxury Delegation Center: 1/2 Civic, diplomatic weight, envoys, influence
-Naval Supply Yard: Shipyard, naval supply
-Naval High Command: Commander starting levels, fleet supply
