The new Habitats reduced planet spam but not enough. Mid-game is always sifting through systems looking for the next optimal place for a habitat or manually building orbitals. Its mind numbing and if you don’t do it you fall behind. Since I can’t figure out how to impose a dynamic build limit based on number of systems or empire size I just nuked them. I wanted to leave the origins though, so this mod restricts the habitat techs and ascension perk to those two origins while making them unavailable to all other empires. In addition Knights can only build habitats in systems that have colonies or citadels

Save Game Compatibility

If nobody has the tech yet then enabling it should be fine, but it someone already has the tech this won’t prevent them from spamming them. Disabling this mod mid-run should work as expected.

Mod Compatibility

Files overwritten:
commontechnology0_eng_tech.txt
commonascension_perks0_ascension_perks.txt
This mod will be incompatible with mods that overwrite the same files. It should be compatible with almost everything else.
